Shane McDowell is a dedicated and seasoned Criminal Lawyer with extensive experience across all Criminal Law matters ranging from simple traffic infringements to domestic and family violence matters, and more complex criminal matters such as murder and manslaughter.
With a Bachelor of Laws from Central Queensland University and Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law, Shane was admitted to the Legal Profession in the Supreme Court of Queensland and has practised in Criminal Law exclusively since his admission.
This sees Shane appearing in Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts across multiple jurisdictions in Australia. His approach ensures obtaining the best outcome possible for each client as he prides himself on being approachable and available to his clients and provides legal advice that is clear and easy to comprehend.
Shane possesses a deep understanding of the criminal justice system, legal procedures, and investigative techniques. His attention to detail and dedication to justice contribute significantly to each criminal case, ensuring that the legal process is fair for all his clients.
Outside of work, Shane enjoys spending time with his family and watching football.
