Bio
Patricija Grigutytė is a solicitor practising in criminal law at Rana Lawyers. Patricija undertook her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Practical Legal Training at the Queensland University of Technology.
Patricija’s experience includes criminal defence, domestic violence applications, traffic offences and driver licence applications. She appears almost daily in Magistrate Courts and District Courts across Brisbane and regional Queensland.
Having previous experience at private law firms and at a community legal centre, Patricija has been exposed to a variety of different matters along with a diverse range of clientele. Here, she has also worked alongside members of the team at Rana Lawyers before coming together at our firm.
Patricija enjoys discussions in a collaborative environment; at Rana Lawyers very much work as a team. But more importantly, the team are all so passionate about our roles and it’s rare to find a group of people that find such fulfilment from their occupations.
She understands that criminal and domestic violence matters can not only be a major stressor in a person’s life, but also on those around them. She appreciates the impact a law matter can have on a person’s life and the importance of our clients understanding the process. When acting for a client, she ensures that they are kept up to date and that there are no questions left unanswered. This is reflected in the amount of praise Patricija gets in her clients’ reviews of Rana Lawyers.
Patricija has always loved to cook, and at times can be a bit of a Labrador and be too food orientated/focused. She shows her love through food and feeding people!
Patricija and her sister competed in My Kitchen Rules showcasing their Lithuanian heritage. When that’s not happening, she enjoys detective shows, our golden SEQ beaches and recently has taken up cycling (wish her luck).
